Yesterday, Ad Age's Good Works blog posted an essay I wrote provocatively titled: Corporate Social Responsibility Is Dead.
The article is aimed at marketing professionals with a simple message: Don't do the right thing because you have to -- Do great things (as a company) because you "get to".

Tim, this is why people follow you and you remain true to form. Your continued push to do the right thing is inspiring but in reality why is it that people need to be told this. Doing the right thing is good for everyone and with that one common cause things will improve in all aspects of your life, including financially if that is what drives you.
Keep it up Tim and we'll keep following...
